About the course
Drive innovation and change in the education sector in Aotearoa New Zealand, and internationally, with a master’s degree in literacy education.
The MLitEd develops advanced awareness of existing issues in reading and literacy education, and the ability to pose informed solutions that address inequities. Examine literacy underachievement in various contexts and focus on issues that support young, at-risk learners with a range of literacy difficulties.
Entry requirements
To be accepted into the Master of Literacy in Education, you must have qualified for an Aotearoa New Zealand bachelor's degree in Education or a related discipline, or equivalent qualification, with at least a B grade average.
