About the course
This qualification is intended for people who may have no prior knowledge or experience in hairdressing and who wish to learn hairstyling, colouring tasks and basic hair cutting techniques. Learn skills including:Salon reception dutiesCompleting consultations, including hair and scalp analysisShampooing, conditioning, treatments, and colour removal from clients' hair and scalpHair-styling tasks using a range of techniques and styling toolsUse and maintenance of cutting tools, and demonstration of basic cutting techniquesColouring services and assistance with other chemical servicesSalon presentation standards, including health, safety, personal hygiene, and environmental requirements
