Tell me about this area Event professionals shape the purpose and run-sheet, then coordinate venues, suppliers, budgets, marketing and on-the-day operations. They manage stakeholders, assess and reduce risk, and adjust quickly when plans change. Many work across business, arts, tourism and community organisations, balancing creativity with strong organisation and clear communication.

Would it suit me? This area could suit you if you’re a good organiser and enjoy bringing people together. You need to be able to work to deadlines, keep track of details and stay calm under pressure. It also helps to be friendly, reliable and comfortable working with a mix of people, from clients to volunteers and suppliers.
