About the course
This Level 3 Programme will take the basics of Te Reo Māori you have already learnt, into the next step. Our safe, encouraging, immersive, bilingual, and interactive programme will take you further along your Te Reo Māori journey and is loved by people from all cultures and backgrounds.You will develop a greater understanding of the Māori culture while you practice and build confidence in your Māori language skills. Learn alongside others at the same level and have fun while you’re doing it.In this programme you’ll learn a variety of sentence structures using Te Reo Māori in a range of formal and informal situations. You’ll be able to explain and practice tikanga Māori as well as learning a range of waiata and karakia.When you finish the course, you’ll have the confidence to advance into full-immersion learning.You will learn:active and passive sentence structuresextending your vocabularyusing different tensesdistinguishing between Māori and non-Māori sentence structures.You will know how to:use a variety of sentence structures.use te reo Māori in a range of formal and informal situations.explain and practice tikanga Māori.use a range of waiata and karakia.Upon successful completion of both Level 3, you will progress into Level 4 of this programme, and once you have completed both levels, you will receive the following qualification:New Zealand Certificate in Te Reo (Reo Rua) Level 4
