About the course
This qualification provides the entertainment, event and screen production industries with technicians who can operate safely, under indirect supervision. The qualification includes strands that recognise specific knowledge and practical skills in various areas relating to entertainment, event and screen production technology. Whilst gaining skills and knowledge in the broad range industries of this qualification, graduates will develop specialist knowledge and practical skills in lighting and audio. You will learn:
Music science and sound Industry practice, safety and protocols Audio production and event technology Communications Live sound and lighting.
You will also be required to complete a NZ First Aid Certificate and NZ Working at Heights training.
