Academic requirements
This programme has no academic entry requirements.
Note: Applicants who have previously achieved a Level 2 qualification may not be eligible to participate in this programme. Please contact NMIT to discuss.
Other requirements
Applicants must:
- Be at least 16 years of age (special entry into the programme may be granted where evidence of Ministry of Education exemption can be supplied).
- Be available to engage in an informal conversation with programme staff.
Information for applicants
The informal interview is designed to learn more about the applicant’s background, experience, motivation, and their ability to participate in and successfully complete the programme.
Applicants may be eligible for Youth Guarantee funding, which is open to 16-24-year-olds (or 15-year-olds who hold an early leaving exemption from school).
