We offer weekly intakes so that you can start your learning journey anytime. Flexible classes are available up to four days a week, five hours per day. Choose to study full-time or part-time for 5 - 10 hours per week.

You will need your ID and visa/residency documents to complete your application.
Te Pūtahi Reo / Language Learning Hub
The English Language Learning Hub is located on level 2 (M210) of NMIT's Nelson Campus Library Learning Centre. The Centre focuses on providing guided and independent learning for individual students and groups.
Students can choose to focus on specific skills or language knowledge gaps according to their individual needs and study goals.
Teachers and Library Learning Centre staff are available to assist learners.
Independent study resources are also available including a wide range of books covering the skills necessary for progression as well as IELTS, FCE and Cambridge learning resources with self-guided practice exercises. Graded readers, audio books, grammar books with explanations, practice exercises and answer keys are also available.
