About the course
Introduction
The Master of Fire Engineering Studies (MFireEngSt) explores testing and designing high-performance structures with sustainable and fire-durable materials.
This taught-master's degree is designed for Science and Engineering graduates that want to focus their career on designing fire control and smoke safety in buildings - including detectors, ventilation, heat transfer and release, and suppression and extinguishing systems.

Entry requirements
Entry requirements
You will need to have previously complete either a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours, a Bachelor of Science with Honours, a Postgraduate Certificate in Engineering (with at least a GPA of 5.0), or equivalent degree study to enrol.
If English is your additional language, you are also required to meet UC's English language requirements.
