Introduction
The Postgraduate Diploma in Art Curatorship is a one-year programme made up of four practice-oriented and fascinating courses.
This Diploma will appeal to students intending to work in museums, art galleries, and commercial art sectors.

You will need either:* a Bachelor of Arts
- a Bachelor of Fine Arts
- other qualifications of an equivalent standing
- evidence of extensive practical, professional, or scholarly experience.
If English is your additional language, you are also required to meet UC's English language requirements.

How to apply
If your entry qualification is not from the University of Canterbury, applications for the Diploma require an up-to-date CV detailing relevant study, roles, and work experience; a full academic transcript of your tertiary-level studies; and a recent writing sample (eg, an essay on a topic related to art). These must be emailed directly to the Programme Coordinator.
You must also contact the Programme Coordinator to arrange a meeting or phone conversation where you will discuss your intentions for the programme, and what you hope to get out of it.
