About the course
The Postgraduate Certificate in Geospatial Data Science (PGCertGDS) prepares students with foundational knowledge of geospatial science and technologies at postgraduate level.
Learn the full process of field data collection with GPS devices through to modelling visual geolocation data.
This Certificate is also a pathway to the 120-point Postgraduate Diploma in Geospatial Data Science, the 180-point Master of Geospatial Data Science with a research project, or the 240-point Master of Science research thesis.

Entry requirements
The PGCertGDS requires a bachelor’s degree with at least a B- Grade Point Average in 300-level courses, plus at least 15 points of undergraduate GIS courses, OR GISC422 Foundations of Geographic Information Systems (OR equivalent) completed beforehand.
If you do not have an appropriate background, you may be required to take an approved course or courses prior to approval into the programme.
