The Postgraduate Diploma in Obstetrics and Medical Gynaecology (PGDipOMG) is aimed at medical practitioners who provide healthcare for women of all ages. The Diploma is designed to assist medical practitioners progress their careers by providing a comprehensive practice-based education in obstetrics and gynaecology.
The PGDipOMG comprises seven papers and can be completed on a part-time basis over two years. The papers include four distance-taught papers, two distance/residential papers which have a three-day residential component in Christchurch and a clinical placement paper comprising a six-month attachment in an obstetrics and gynaecology department.
