Course details

Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Laws (Honours) Conjoint BA/LLB(Hons)
NZQF Level 7

About the course

A BA/LLB(Hons) conjoint allows you to complete a BA and the LLB(Hons) in less time, and with fewer points, than it would take to complete the two degrees separately. This degree develops essential skills that help students to adapt and thrive in a fast-changing, globalised society. By studying Law, you can arm yourself with a skill set that meets the high demands of many careers, inside and outside of the legal profession. You can complement your legal study with a wide range of subjects in the humanities, social sciences, cultures and languages.

Entry requirements

Entry is by invitation for high-achieving Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Laws (BA/LLB) Part II students. To be considered for the Honours programme in Law, you must achieve a B+ average or higher across all your law courses at the completion of LLB Part II during your BA/LLB. (This is usually at the end of your third year.)
