Minimum requirements listed here are the likely grades required and do not guarantee entry. We assess each application individually and applicants may require a higher grade to be offered a place.

The MAI (120 point pathway) will accept graduates with a Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours), Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) or Bachelor of Science (Honours) with a Grade Point Average of 4.0 or higher in 60 points above Stage III.

The MAI (180 point pathway) will accept students with the Degree of Bachelor of Science with a Grade Point Average of 4.0 or higher in 60 points above Stage II.

Alternatively, a student may enter after having passed 60 points in the Postgraduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence or Postgraduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence from this University with a Grade Point Average of 4.0 or higher, provided that the postgraduate certificate or postgraduate diploma has not been awarded.
