About the course
Develop advanced clinical and professional supervision skills while learning alongside practitioners from a wide range of professions. This multi-disciplinary programme is designed to meet the demand for qualified supervisors in social and human services.
Throughout the programme you will examine the concept, role, purpose and benefits of professional supervision and explore a range of theoretical and practical models and approaches, including anti-oppressive and cross-cultural dynamics within supervision. Through classroom presentations, small group practice and written assignments, you will develop and integrate advanced knowledge, skills and values of professional supervision.
Through elective courses, you will develop critical skills in staff management and explore teaching and learning strategies for supervising students on field education placements.
