About the course
This diploma is aimed at improving the standard of obstetric and gynaecological care provided by general practitioners working in the community. You will complete a programme of practical training and formal education.
Entry requirements
Entry to this diploma is limited to 25 students per year. You must have completed an undergraduate degree in medicine, such as the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), or equivalent medical qualification, at a recognised university (or similar institution). You will also need to hold current registration as a medical practitioner with either the Medical Council of New Zealand or as a Medical Practitioner in your home country, and have adequate access to clinical work in a hospital approved by the University of Auckland. You will be asked to provide a current CV. English language requirements If you are an international applicant whose first language is not English you will need to provide evidence of your English proficiency. You will require an IELTS Academic score of 6.5 with no bands less than 6.0.
