About the course
If you want to get into the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry and work on domestic and commercial equipment, then the New Zealand Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (Trade Assistant) Level 3 is for you. This pre-apprenticeship qualification will prepare you for the industry and teach you all the fundamentals that you will need to know.
- Assemble, install and maintain a basic refrigeration and/or air conditioning plant
- Safely test basic electrical circuitry
- Recover refrigerant into a cylinder
- Charge refrigeration systems in accordance with current regulations
