About the course
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the General Aviation and Agriculture sectors of the NZ Aviation Industry with individuals who have attained sufficient operational and theoretical knowledge and practical skills to achieve employment as commercial pilots or associated support staff in flight planning and aircraft operations. Graduates will qualify to operate as commercial pilots under the appropriate NZ Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) rules for General Aviation and Agricultural Aviation and Aerial Application.
Entry requirements
Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements of the Civil Aviation Act 1990 and the Civil Aviation Rules Part 61 Subpart E for a commercial pilot licence. Candidates must meet the Industry and Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) approved student selection and entry process.
