About the course

Learning in our campus café from tutors with extensive experience you'll acquire the skills to produce a range of bar and barista beverages to a high standard and provide informal table service.

You'll also gain an understanding of operating procedures in cafes, bars and restaurants and learn how to communicate effectively in these environments.

To meet Health and Safety requirements, applicants must be physically able to undertake the practical components of the programme in an industry emulated environment.

As a graduate of this programme you'll have the skills to provide barista and table service in licensed and unlicensed cafes, bars and restaurants.
