New Zealand Certificate in Cleaning with optional endorsement in Health Care Facilities Cleaning

The purpose of this qualification is to:
- maintain professional standards for the cleaning industry by qualifying those individuals who have attained sufficient knowledge and practical skills to provide cleaning services
- provide for individuals a credential that will support employment opportunities and provide a pathway for development in the cleaning industry.
It is suitable for people who are entering the cleaning industry and also designed to recognise the skills and knowledge of those already employed in the cleaning industry.
The Health Care Facilities Cleaning optional endorsement builds on the core skills and knowledge to recognise the skills required for cleaning specifically in health care facilities under supervision.
