- Sound theory, types of signals, equipment
- Speakers and microphones, mixing boards, amplifiers and crossovers
- Equalisation, effects, compressors and gates
- Gain stucture
- PA hook up, cabling, coiling leads, setting up microphones
- Powered speakers - understanding of clients own equipment
- Buying of equipment - advice on upgrading
- Electrical systems safety
