About the course

Discover a career in IT with the ITC 502 Fundamentals of Programming and Problem Solving as a Blended Learning option.

This is a foundation paper that will teach you the foundations of programming using Java Script.

You’ll have access to a full suite of software development resources and applications, including the latest programming tools, cloud servers and storage from Microsoft and AWS, as well as the opportunity to gain further industry recognised accreditations.  
IT502 is a required paper for all IT programmes at NZQA Level 5 and above, and you will gain 15 credits towards any Diploma or Degree programme in IT. It’s a great way to get a flying start into further study, or simply learn some programming skills.

You’ll have access to a full suite of software development resources and applications, including the latest programming tools, cloud servers and storage from Microsoft and AWS, as well as the opportunity to gain further industry recognised accreditations.

This is a blended delivery paper incorporating modern learning, remote working and a mixture of instructor led and self-study. You will need to come to class one day per week which will be held on-campus or remotely on Friday's.
