Study and Career Preparation - Medical Imaging and Applied Science Pathway, Level 4

About the course

This programme is a pathway for the Bachelor of Medical Imaging, the Bachelor of Applied Science (Sports Science) and the New Zealand Diploma in Applied Science (Level 5).

It covers a variety of subjects including human and microbial biology, cell biology, chemistry and maths. You’ll also gain skills for academic study - such as how to write academic texts - and you'll develop the intra- and inter-personal skills needed to support success in tertiary study.

This certificate can be studied full-time or part-time over two years.

Please note: to ensure you have the best chance of success in our maths courses, we require that you demonstrate a minimum level of maths knowledge before enrolling. This can be done using previous academic records (e.g. NCEA results) or through our entry testing process.

This programme is designed as a stepping to stone to higher-level study, which in turn can lead to a rewarding career.
