You'll also learn about tools, machines and timber, plus the construction of single and two storey residential buildings and light commercial buildings.

Starting an apprenticeship is the ideal path to securing a future in the construction industry where you will undertake practical and theory tasks to gain the full trade qualification.

Many qualified carpenters choose to work as a leading hand, a foreman, a construction manager, a project manager within a company structure as well as work as a sole trader and/or contractor.
