About the course
This six-month programme is designed to build your skills for long term academic and career success by ensuring the essential layers of learning are in place. It covers a variety of subjects aimed at preparing you for the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing and the New Zealand Diploma in Enrolled Nursing, or the New Zealand Certificate in Study and Career Preparation Level 4, which then leads to the Bachelor of Nursing, the Bachelor of Midwifery, the Bachelor of Medical Imaging, the Bachelor of Musculoskeletal Health and the Bachelor of Social Work.
You'll take core courses designed to equip you with fundamental academic and mathematical skills, then a selection of courses specifically required to advance in your chosen pathway. Part-time up to 2 years.
This leads to the New Zealand Certificate in Study and Career Preparation (Level 4).
This certificate will prepare you for further study by developing your basic and general academic skills before you embark on full time diploma or degree programmes.
