About the course
Gain the academic skills required for higher-level study in sport science, nutrition or health promotion
This six-month programme is designed to build your skills for long term academic and career success by ensuring the essential layers of learning are in place. It covers a variety of subjects aimed at preparing you for the Certificate in Fitness, or the New Zealand Certificate in Study and Career Preparation Level 4, which then leads to the Bachelor of Applied Science which is available in sport and exercise science, human nutrition or physical activity and health promotion.
You'll take core courses designed to equip you with fundamental academic and mathematical skills, then a selection of courses specifically required to advance in your chosen pathway.

IELTS scores used must be taken from a single IELTS Test Report Form and are valid for two years from the date of the test.
What if I have achieved NCEA Level 3 University Entrance?
You do not need to provide additional evidence of English Language skills.
