Value | The value of the award will be NZ$7,000 per annum. This will be broken down as follows: • $4,000 towards course fees • $3,000 emolument payment paid by FAR (managed by Lincoln University) fortnightly. This payment will commence at course commencement. |
Length | The tenure of the Scholarship shall begin at the commencement of the Semester immediately following the award. |

About the scholarship
This scholarship is being awarded by the Foundation for Arable Research (FAR) with the objective being to encourage research activities which will add value to the New Zealand arable faming sector.

Entry requirements
The Scholarship shall be open to full-time students at Lincoln University eligible to proceed to or undertaking postgraduate research, which will assist with increasing standards within the New Zealand arable farming sector.
The applicant must be a permanent resident of New Zealand.
The applicant must be eligible to undertake one of the following programmes of study: • Postgraduate Diploma in Agricultural Science PGDipAgrSc • Bachelor of Agricultural Science B.Agr.Sc. (Hons) • Master of Agricultural Science M.Agr.Sc. • Master of Applied Science M.Appl.Sc. • Master of Science M.Sc. • PhD
The tenure of the Scholarship shall begin at the commencement of the Semester immediately following the award.
