About the scholarship
The Ministry of Education, Science, Sports and Culture (monbukagakusho) of the Government of Japan offers scholarship to foreign students who wish to study at Japanese universities.
Offered to students who wish to study at Japanese universities as postgraduate students.

Each applicant must submit three sets of documents as specified in application procedure. One set is required to be original documents.
Entry requirements
This scholarship is available to applicants who are born on or after April 2, 1983 to study for up to 2 years at a Japanese University of their choice. Applicants must be New Zealand citizens. Students must elect to study a research topic related in field to their undergraduate degree.
