About the scholarship
Open to students undertaking a course of study in a forestry discipline, with priority given to students with a connection to the land on which Kaingaroa Timberlands holds forestry licences and who have resided in the central North Island.The scholarship shall be awarded annually to one person enrolled as a full-time student for tertiary study in a forest related discipline. The award shall be a cash value not greater than the total cost of tuition fees, tenable for the minimum time required to complete the programme of study, to a maximum 4 years. Also on offer to the student awarded the scholarship, is paid vacation work during the tenure of the award
Entry requirements
To be eligible for the scholarship, the student shall commence his/her programme of study in the year of the award, and the award shall be tenable for the minimum time required to complete the programme of study, but shall not exceed 4 years.
