Parsons Family Trust Scholarship

The Stratford Demonstration Farm Society Inc. was formed in 1917. As part of their centennial celebrations, the committee has decided to invest in the future of New Zealand agriculture by offering a scholarship to students in the agriculture, soil sciences or veterinary fieldsA scholarship of $3000 may be awarded. The value of the scholarship will be determined each year by the AACF Grants Committee. It may differ from year to year and may also differ between applicants.Stratford Demonstration Farm Society Inc.’s dairy farm may be available as a potential site for study, pending approval from the leasee. Stratford Demonstration Farm Society Inc. will require the successful applicant to present their findings at a meeting or field day of Stratford Demonstration Farm Society Inc.’s choosing. The scholarship may be awarded to more than one applicant but may not necessarily be awarded in any one year. The successful applicant(s) will be chosen by interview to be held early December.
