About the scholarship
Available under the will of James Sanderson, architect, of Auckland, who died 1924.
Candidates may study for one or other of the following professions: Ministry of the Presbyterian Church, Medicine, Law, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Architecture.

Entry requirements
Preference will be given to those candidates who furnish satisfactory proof of their intention to study for the ministry of the Presbyterian Church.
The applicant's surname must be one of Stewart, Mackay or Sanderson, or they can demonstrate a relationship or kinship with the late James Sanderson, architect of Auckland, or his wife. They must be British subjects and UNMARRIED. Be aged between 19 and twenty six.
