So we’ve created a new scholarship, exclusively for local female students in engineering or science-related fields with an interest in renewable energy. It provides financial support to help you pursue your studies and build a rewarding career in New Zealand's renewable energy industry.

Eastland Generation manage geothermal power plants in the Eastern Bay of Plenty, a hydro scheme in Hawke’s Bay and a utility-scale solar farm in Tairāwhiti, with further exciting projects in development.

For the 2027 academic year, a scholarship of $5,000 is available to an eligible local student.

The successful applicant may also be offered paid summer work with Eastland Generation during the 2027/2028 summer period. Any work opportunity will depend on business requirements and suitable work being available.
