About the scholarship
The Mike Collins Science Research Scholarship was established to encourage Science students to undertake research degrees. It honors Mike Collins, a physicist and early champion of the internet, who supported young scientists. Preference will be given to Physics applicants carrying out applied research that could be commercialized in the future.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be enrolled, or intending to enrol, in a Master's by thesis at Te Herenga Waka–Victoria University of Wellington. Applicants must be undertaking research in Science. Preference will be given to Physics applicants carrying out applied research that the student could commercialise in the future.
