About the scholarship
The North Canterbury Farmers Trust Undergraduate Scholarship was established in 2026 to support Lincoln University students studying an undergraduate programme in agriculture. The scholarship aims to encourage motivated young people with a connection to North Canterbury to develop their skills, knowledge and leadership potential while maintaining strong links to rural communities.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be:
- Enrolled full-time in an undergraduate agriculture programme at Lincoln University
- New Zealand citizens or permanent residents
- Able to demonstrate a strong connection to the North Canterbury district, defined as the area north of the Rakaia River and including Kaikōura.
