About the scholarship
This scholarship was established jointly between Mike Collins personally and Viclink (now Wellington UniVentures) to encourage Science students to undertake research degrees. Preference will be given to Physics applicants carrying out applied research that the student could commercialise in the future. The scholarship provides full domestic fees and a one-off stipend of $19,000.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be enrolled, or intending to enrol, in a Master's by thesis at Te Herenga Waka–Victoria University of Wellington. Applicants must be undertaking research in Science. Preference will be given to Physics applicants carrying out applied research that the student could commercialise in the future.
