About the scholarship
Auckland University of Technology (AUT) is providing International Student Accommodation Scholarships to support new-to-AUT and new-to-programme international students commencing study in Semester Two 2026. The scholarship guarantees accommodation at AUT’s Te Āhuru Mayoral Drive Student Accommodation, located in the heart of Auckland city, just a minute’s walk from AUT City Campus, offering quality, modern, single studio-style living.
What you receive
•The scholarship covers one self catered studio room for a single resident.
•The scholarship does not cover the accommodation application fee, residential life fee, security deposiit (if required), or any additional accommodation related costs.These must be paid by the recipient upon signing the accommodation agreement.
Entry requirements
International New to AUT or New to Programme
•New to AUT or new to Programme, full-fee paying international students undertaking an undergraduate or postgraduate degree programme of study of at least 120 points or pathway programme into undergraduate degree level study at AUT.
•Doctoral, Study Abroad, and Inbound Exchange programmes are not eligible.
Applicants must:
•Be full fee paying international students (i.e., not citizens, permanent residents, or resident visa holders of New Zealand or Australia).
•Be new to AUT or new to programme with a current, valid, unconditional offer to study full time (minimum 120 points) commencing in Semester Two 2026.
•Applicants enrolling in programmes under 120 points who intend to pathway into an undergraduate degree may also apply.
•Agree to enter into a Residential Contract to live at Te Āhuru Mayoral Drive Student Accommodation.
•If awarded the scholarship, accept their Offer of Place and pay full tuition fees as per the pro forma invoice.
