About the scholarship
For students studying the MBA or EMBA who are passionate about contributing to business and to society. Established in 1954, Esco Industries is a respected provider of electrical, gas, and cabling solutions across a wide range of industries with operations spanning both Australia and New Zealand. Esco Industries has a reputation built on innovation, quality, and customer focus. It is committed to excellence and engineers' solutions that set the standard for durability, functionality, and long-term value. Successful recipients will be expected to visit Esco Industries, Australia, to meet with senior Esco staff. Funding of up to $7,000 is available to support travel and accommodation. They will also have the opportunity to engage with Esco Industries and contribute to a consultancy-style research report with the topic to be agreed upon by Esco Industries. Additionally, recipients will be encouraged to attend an Outward-Bound course, with funding of up to $6,000 available to support attendance.
Entry requirements
Applicants must:
- be New Zealand or Australian citizens
- be enrolled or intending to enrol in the MBA or EMBA at Massey University
- have at least 7 years' business/industry experience
- hold a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Include the following with your application:
- your Curriculum Vitae (max. 3 pages)
- a one-page statement outlining your career aspirations and how these align with this scholarship
- a copy of your academic transcripts for your full tertiary level background.
