About the scholarship
The Te Tumu Paeroa Office of the Māori Trustee Scholarship was established in 2025 to support Māori postgraduate students undertaking the Master of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Land Use. This scholarship is available to all students who whakapapa to hapū or iwi. Applications are encouraged from students who hope to apply what they learn in the Master of AI for Land Use Innovation to benefit Māori communities, lands, and future generations.
Entry requirements
Applicants must demonstrate academic merit, alignment of the proposed Master's course work and research topic to the use of technology and the land, and a commitment to a career in technology and land-based industries.
