About the scholarship
The Humanities and Social Sciences Master's Step-Up Scholarship supports students entering postgraduate study for the first time, assisting in removing barriers to upskill. This scholarship is for students entering a master's degree in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences in semester 1 (February) 2026.
Entry requirements
You will be:
- a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
- enrolling for the first time in a master's degree in semester one (February), 2026
- intending to enrol, full time or part time, in a master's degree within the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Massey University (eligible qualifications are listed under the Conditions). Include the following with your application:
- a statement outlining your reasons for wanting to enrol in your chosen master's degree and your interest in your subject area (max 250 words)
