About the scholarship
The Unitec Pacific Success Scholarships aim to encourage Pacific students to pursue their educational goals at Unitec. Established in 2017, this scholarship provides financial support of $2,000 and mentoring opportunities during the first semester of study. Recipients are expected to engage with the Unitec Pacific Community.
Entry requirements
To apply, you must:
- be a domestic student, i.e. New Zealand citizen or Permanent Resident
- be enrolling for the first time at Unitec
- be enrolled as a Pacific student
- be starting a programme from Level 3 to 8 (certificate, diploma, undergraduate degree, postgraduate certificate or diploma) that takes at least one semester of full-time study to complete. Support is available for ākonga through our Careers Team and Scholarships Team.
