About the scholarship
The Fred Tschopp Senior Scholarship is a Fees Award given to an entry level student who satisfies the criteria through the presentation of a portfolio and a two-page written statement of their research proposal that honors the legacy of Fred Tschopp Snr. The scholarship commemorates the life and achievements of Fred Tschopp Senior, a Swiss-American certified landscape architect who pioneered modern, innovative landscape architecture in New Zealand.

Applicants must present a portfolio and a two-page written statement of their research proposal. The proposal should demonstrate the potential for their research to contribute new knowledge to the discipline of landscape architecture, make a significant difference to our world, and honor the legacy of Fred Tschopp Snr.
