About the scholarship
The Āheinga Equity Scholarship is designed to encourage disabled and neurodivergent learners to pursue their studies at Unitec. It aims to provide financial support to lessen the barriers faced by these students in higher education.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be domestic students (New Zealand citizens or Permanent Residents) enrolled full-time or part-time in an undergraduate or postgraduate programme (Level 3 to 8). They must have a verified disability, which includes physical, psychological, mental health disorders, neurological conditions, long-term injuries, or other impairments that impact learning.
