About the scholarship
The Āheinga Equity Scholarship aims to encourage disabled and neurodivergent learners to pursue their studies at Unitec. It provides financial and additional support to lessen barriers faced by these students in higher education.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be domestic students (New Zealand citizens or Permanent Residents) enrolled full-time or part-time in an undergraduate or postgraduate programme (Level 3 to 8). They must have a verified disability, which includes physical, psychological, mental health disorders, neurological conditions, long-term injuries, or impairments that impact learning.
