About the scholarship
Ngā Pou Mana are proud to provide the Ngā Taonga Mātauranga o Ngā Pou Mana scholarships and awards to tauira and kaimahi Māori. The awards support Māori allied health workforce development, enabling individuals to continue their studies and grow their professional and cultural practice.
Entry requirements
You must be of Māori descent and provide details of your whakapapa. For Category 2 – Ngā Pou Mana Kete Aronui mō te tauira: You must be studying in an allied health pathway at any level (certificate, diploma, degree, postgraduate, masters, PhD or doctorate). For Category 3 – Ngā Pou Mana Mātauranga Māori: You must be a member of Ngā Pou Mana and entering into study or are in study to build your understanding of Te Ao Māori. Note: Medical, Pharmacy and Nursing students and professionals cannot apply for Ngā Pou Mana awards.
