About the scholarship
This scholarship is funded by the School of Mathematics and Statistics and has been established to encourage postgraduate study in Mathematics. The scholarship will be paid directly to the student as one lump sum.
Entry requirements
Applicants must have completed at least one year of study at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington and be eligible for postgraduate study. Applicants must be seeking to study full time in postgraduate Mathematics in 2026. A completed online application must be submitted by 4:30 pm on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Any required supporting documentation (including references) must also be received by 4:30 pm on the closing date in order for the application to be considered. If the student has two years of academic history at VUW then this will be used and no additional information is required. If the student has only one year of academic history at VUW, then a transcript from another university is required.
