About the scholarship
This scholarship provides an opportunity for Māori students to engage in seismic and geological field studies at Ōkataina volcano, focusing on understanding the volcano's past and present behavior. The scholarship recipient will gain skills in seismic and geological fieldwork, assist with fieldwork campaigns, and write a detailed report of their work.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be Māori or of Māori descent. A good level of physical fitness is required.
