About the scholarship
The International Creative Excellence Masters Degree Scholarship acknowledges the creative excellence and strength of creative vision to support international students enrolling in the first year of a masters degree with the College of Creative Arts Massey University. This scholarship is aimed at new international students who can demonstrate creative excellence through a portfolio. In 2026, you will be enrolling in the first year of one of the following qualifications: Master of Commercial Music, Master of Design, Master of Fine Arts, or Master of Screen Arts.
Entry requirements
To be considered for this award, you must be an international student intending to enrol in the first year of a masters degree with the College of Creative Arts in semester one, February 2026. Include the following with your application: a digital portfolio of creative work which provides an opportunity to demonstrate your creative potential and commitment. All submissions should be delivered as PDF documents. Links in the PDF to digital content host platforms can be used (e.g. Vimeo, YouTube, itch.io, Artstation, portfolio websites, etc). Large supplementary digital content files (videos, game executables, etc) may be provided as links to file sharing sites (Dropbox, Mega, Google Drive, etc). Links to social media sites will NOT be accepted (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, etc). A short written statement (approximately 300 words) highlighting your creative purpose.
