About the scholarship
For someone who wants to or is undertaking research in the field of agriculture at postgraduate or PhD level. This scholarship is awarded by the Leonard Condell Farming Scholarship Trust established under the terms of the will of Leonard Condell, a Pukekohe farmer who died in 1974.
Entry requirements
You must:
- be a New Zealand-born resident
- be a graduate in science, agriculture or a related discipline
- undertake research that will benefit some branch of agriculture in New Zealand.
Include the following with your application:
- a copy of your academic transcripts
- a statement on how receiving this scholarship would be of benefit to you and your study, and how you believe you meet the intentions of this award, with particular reference to how your research benefits agriculture in New Zealand.
- a character reference
