About the scholarship
For international students enrolling in an undergraduate degree at Massey University for the first time in Semester 1 (February) 2026. This scholarship provides NZ$5,000 towards tuition fees for eligible students. The Toroa bird symbolizes resilience, strength, and the courage to venture into the unknown, just like you when you embark on your educational journey in a foreign land.
Entry requirements
To be considered for this award, you must: be an international student; be new to Massey, and intending to enrol, full time on campus in New Zealand, in their first 120 credits of an undergraduate degree in semester 1 (February) 2026; have received the equivalent of a New Zealand B grade or higher in your preceding qualification. Successful recipients will be required to pay the first year full fees, or make a NZ$500 contribution towards their tuition fees within 2 weeks of the scholarship award in order to secure the scholarship. Applicants must submit an application to be considered for this scholarship. Applications are submitted through the Student Portal under the Scholarships tab.
