About the scholarship
The Dakin Family Scholarship was established in 2025 to support a current Lincoln University student studying an undergraduate degree in the areas of land, property management and valuation. John and Jo Dakin met at Lincoln University and have established this scholarship to support the next generation of students in their studies.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be full-time students registered in their 2nd or 3rd year of an undergraduate degree in the areas of land, property management and valuation. Applicants must be New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents. Students from the North Island, in particular, are encouraged to apply (but this is not a limitation). Selection criteria include academic merit and a demonstrated preference for a career in land and property management, and valuation.
