About the scholarship
This scholarship is being established by the Antarctic Research Centre in recognition of a generous donation by alumni Ray Hoare to the ARC Endowed Development Fund, to support students pursuing their Master's studies in Antarctic research. The scholarship provides a $22,000 tax-free stipend for one year plus tuition fees.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be currently enrolled or intending to enrol in a 90 points or 120 points Master by thesis degree at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. Applicants must be working on research with links to the Antarctic Research Centre. Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.
