Pokaia Nepia Scholarship

The Pokaia Nepia Scholarship is awarded based on academic merit and was established to support Waikato-Tainui uri to pursue studies at the University of Waikato, focusing on areas that align with the strategic aspirations of the iwi. For domestic students who are currently enrolled full-time (120 points) in any programme at the University of Waikato in 2025. Please note that Doctoral and MPhil programmes are excluded. To apply for the Pokaia Nepia Scholarship, click “Apply Now” below. You will be directed to your MyWaikato portal, where you must select “Pokaia Nepia / Taki Turner Scholarships” to begin your application. In the online application, you can choose to be considered for either scholarship or both. Please ensure you carefully read the scholarship regulations before starting the application process.
